Everyone wants to sell me a new phone, but since alltel sold no one will sell me minutes for my present Nokia. I shouldn't have lost my pnone completely, I bought it from simple freedom and was assured my service would continue when they sold.

David: Cellular South is a CDMA-based operator and Nokia has a heavier focus on GSM-based products, so many of the newer phones are not compatible with their network. Also, it would be a matter of an agreement between Cellular South and Nokia which phones are offered through that provider.

WHY won't Cellular South carry the latest brands of Nokia phones? They only have one to chose from and when questioned they say it is a problem between thema and Nokia. Could you please shed some light on this matter?

Noel: There are a few different versions of the Nokia N95, each with minor variations over the other models. Generally speaking, the Nokia N95 series will have quad-band GSM, 3G high-speed data (HSDPA), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0, QVGA display, microSD expansion, HTML web browser, 5 megapixel camera, GPS, media player, dual slide design, TV-out, and push-to-talk.

Darren: Check with your user manual, because the memory card may need to be initiated and/or formatted by the cell phone before you can use it. This may involved holding the OK button, for example, for several seconds. This varies from model to model, but without the correct file structure, the card may not be read correctly by your phone.
