Helio Ocean Accessories
From LoveToKnow Cellphones
Having a dual slider isn't enough for your personalization needs and that's why you should have a look around for what Helio Ocean accessories are available on the market. You do want to customize with cell phone accessories, don't you?
Why Buy a Helio Ocean?
Before we get into a discussion on Helio Ocean accessories, you may be asking yourself why you'd be interested in this particular mobile phone in the first place. Well, the key selling feature on this handset is that it comes with not one, but two keypads. Slide the phone open vertically, as shown here, to reveal a curved numeric keypad for dialing out. Slide it open horizontally and you'll reveal a Sidekick 3-like QWERTY keyboard for mobile e-mail, Web surfing, and text messages.

Included Helio Ocean Accessories
Unlike so many other cell phones, there are actually several critical Helio Ocean accessories that are included free of charge with purchase. Looking inside the box, you will find at least four accessories that will surely come in handy for all of your portable multimedia needs, whether it be listening to MP3s or surfing on MySpace Mobile.
- The stereo headset plugs directly into your Helio Ocean, serving two key functions. It can serve as a handsfree device -- there is a microphone built into the cord -- and it can also serve as a set of headphones for listening to music.
- The USB cable lets you easily connect your Helio device with your computer. Through this connection you can transfer pictures and upload music. The file transfer works in both directions, meaning you can pull new wallpapers and ringtones from your computer to your Helio cell phone, as well as send pictures taken on your Ocean to your computer.
- The travel charger is one of the more compact cell phone chargers on the market. The next time you take a trip to grandma's, don't forget to pack the charger!
- In order to use a regular set of headphones, you'll need to make use of the included 2.5mm to 3.5mm headset adapter. The headset port on the Helio Ocean is 2.5mm, but most standard earphones -- like those included with your iPod -- use a 3.5mm jack. This adapter solves your compatibility problems.
Additional Helio Accessories
It's time to personalize with a bunch of Helio Ocean accessories. Here are a few suggestions.
- A microSD memory card can expand the capacity of your Helio Ocean -- which has 200MB of internal memory -- by up to 1GB. You don't need to buy a Helio-branded memory card, but do check for compatibility before purchasing a different brand. Sandisk cards usually work well.
- Protect your beautiful mobile phone with a cell phone case. You wouldn't want that screen to get scuffed or the body to get scratched, now would you?
- Extra cellular phone batteries can come in handy when you don't have a chance to charge your phone. Get some extra batteries and pre-charge them. This way, if you don't find yourself near an outlet, you will never find yourself out of power.
- Talk without wires and consider a Bluetooth headset. The Helio Ocean supports the A2DP stereo Bluetooth standard, so you can choose between either a mono (one ear) or stereo (two ear) headset. Bear in mind that music will only work with a stereo headset.
- Customize the look of your Helio Ocean with cell phone charms or cell phone skins. Let your personality come shining through.
