There are several reasons why you would want free mobile phone tools, the most notable of which is the price tag. It's really hard to resist the price of free when someone offers it to you.

Before we proceed in our discussion of free mobile phone tools, perhaps it is best to clarify exactly what is meant by the term. Generally, you can interpret the term one of two ways. First, there is a software program called Mobile Phone Tools and it was designed for use with Motorola cell phones. Second, you could look into mobile phone tools that are used for repairing or modifying your cellular phones. These would include both physical tools, like a screwdriver, and virtual ones, like various software programs.

While this application was not designed for Motorola's Windows Mobile smartphones or devices running on the new Linux-based platform, many of the older Motorola phones did need this software package to do some rather basic things on the handsets.
Known as Mobile Phone Tools, it is a software program that you install on your PC and is used to interact with your Motorola phone, including models like the RAZR, V600, and V635. In essence, the program was used to perform such tasks as upload music and add wallpapers.
Also known as Motorola Phone Tools, the MPT software can be found directly on the Motorola website. It is not free there, however. The software on its own is $34.95 and the version that comes with the necessary data cables goes for $49.99.
Thankfully, there are websites like Download3k.com that have managed to find free Mobile Phone Tools in the form of a trial. It is a limited trial, but at least you can get a sense of whether it warrants a purchase.
As always, when you are downloading programs and applications from third-party websites (like Download3k.com), you should exercise extreme caution. We do not necessarily endorse that particular website. It is important to verify the legitimacy of the site. Also, you will definitely want to have a powerful antivirus and anti-spyware program in place, just in case. You wouldn't want your computer to get infected. For this and other reasons, it may be best to forgo the free option and purchase the software directly from Motorola instead.
Cell Phone Modification and Repair
Whether you like it or not, mobile phones are just like every other electronic device, so you may encounter some problems from time to time. On certain phones, you may have trouble getting a strong enough signal to complete calls on a regular basis. On others, you may find that the operating system or user interface "freezes" unexpectedly. Or you could run into physical problems like a back cover that doesn't stay shut.
For instances like those, you may be interested in free mobile phone tools to complete some cell phone repair. Although they are supposed to be as good as new, refurbished phones may be more inclined to issues, because they are older handsets. Unfortunately, there are very few opportunities to get a cell phone repair for free unless it is still under warranty.
